I'll admit I was hoping for a more UA look, as in, rough around the edges and less elaborate architecture. But I love the rest, so so much! :3

to the people that finished the demo does anyone figured how to disable the blue barriers one at the rocks and the other one on top of serpents keep? is it possible in the demo? any hint would be great thats the only things i got left cheers

theres an item, i wont tell you what it is, but theres an item that you use to remove the barriers.

thank you i just wanted to know if its possible so ill continue looking i was not sure if they can be opened in the demo or it can only happen in the full release thanks again.(edit) found it !

the demo is really great i did everything but the barrier up on the rocks where you can see some scrolls guarded by a giant rat and some doors high up in the tower with the armored undead can they be opened in the demo? 9/10 for me i really enjoyed it.

Good demo, will be interested to see how this deveops. a few little things

1. work on sound propagation espically for enemy foot steps

2. a light/darkness meter ala thief

3. gibs me dark messiah kick.

4. when selecting throwable items from the hotbar ie, fire bombs they throw instantly. make it that the first button press selects the item, second uses, let me aim muh throws.

other than that 7.5/10 demo. keep up the work, keen as to see a finished game.

This is looking excellent so far, though with some graphical glitches and inventory controls / manipulation may need tightening up. How much of a slice is there here? So far I've only found one seal and the door that requires 4. Can't unlock any other doors...

All four seals can be found in the demo area.

Thank you, there's much more to this than I thought then.

That is unfortunately a default setting on UE4. Should be fixed on the latest build coming tomorrow!

Remember to disable any plugin you don't use. ;) I think Alessa Baker has something on her Patreon on how to minimize Unreal build sizes too.

Looks promising and remember so much Dark Souls in First Person.

Looks promising, unfortunately the game gave me motion sickness.  I hope  increasing the FOV and disabling individual shader effects, especially the blur, in a later build can help.

You will be able to turn off motion blur in the next version coming tomorrow.

Thanks, that made a big difference for me.  Still was feeling slightly quesy, but it was definitely playable.  I hope you can add FOV controls before the final release.

Will this game have a GoG release? That would be awesome!

I will submit it to GoG when it is ready. Then it is up to their review system.

That would be sooo great! Instabuy :)

I think it couldn't hurt to upvote on the community wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/monomyth

Absolutly! And I'll do that right now! :)

I would love to play this, but for some reason the entire game is an eye-searing kaleidoscope of colors on my system. I think the problem is my drivers, which sometimes just kinda do stuff when I run games in fullscreen, but this demo literally only allows itself to be run in fullscreen.

Interesting. Can you perhaps "Alt+Enter" into window mode?

I had no idea that was a hotkey, thanks!

Great !

I had fun with the demo, which is stable, looks like a vertical slice and has a great level to play with. And scary undeads.

Glad to hear you liked it!
